Logistics site
Calculate the emissions of goods handled at logistics sites, such as warehouses and terminals, with the GLEC methodology.
Choose a methodology
| Methodology | Coverage | Basis | Inputs you need | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GLEC | Warehouses, transhipment sites, and maritime container and liquid bulk terminals | GLEC Framework v3.2 (2025) | weight_in_tonnes; optional logistics_site_type, condition_type | No route needed: emissions depend on the weight handled. Send type as logistics_hub; logistics_site still works. Supports audit records. |
When to use it
- Use GLEC for emissions from storing and handling goods at a site, separate from the transport legs to and from it.
- Send
logistics_site_typeandcondition_typewhen you know them. Otherwise SQUAKE useswarehouseandmixed. temperature_controlledonly applies to themaritime_container_terminalsite type.
